The Fauji Fresh n Freeze Supply Chain is an amalgamation of multiple departments, striving to deliver its core objective: On-time delivery of the desired finished product to the customer at the right price.
The first step in fulfilling this core objective is the procurement of right raw material at the right price. This Raw Material is then converted into a finished product (as per customer demand) at our plant, based at the heart of Punjab, in Sahiwal. This product is finally transported in a temperature controlled vehicle to the customer. All these steps are monitored and moderated by the Quality Assurance department to ensure strict quality compliance and adherence to food safety standards. Lastly, the Supply Chain planning function acts as the central coordinating department to bring unison of action among all the inter-connected departments.

Agri Development and Procurement Function:
Agri Development, being at the primary end of the Supply Chain, is involved in following key functions:• Development of raw material as per the portfolio requirement• Raw material procurement from field at the right price and quality modelIn order to fulfil the raw material requirement, an extensive network of progressive farmers has been engaged who are extensively guided on modern pre and post-harvest practices with a view to procure produce having better quality and qualifying yield. Particular features of the farmer training program include:• Best agronomy practices from sowing to harvest• Produce quality and safety controls in field for better compliance i.e. field monitoring, pesticide/heavy metals, MRL management • Post-harvest handling of fresh produce from field to plant in a manner that freshness of produce remains intact with minimum losses through sorting/grading, packing and logistics.Farmers are engaged through contract farming model largely- a model which besides providing additional market window to farmers also triggers transformation of cash strapped agriculture sector to better and ensured cash inflows, while, on buyer end it’s a pivotal tool for a sustainable business.In order to have effective backward integration and knowledge sharing, Agri Dev believes in development of strong linkages with service providers (seed, fertiliser, crop protection), R&D institutes in public and private sectors, Govt. support departments (Agri extension & research) and Contemporary processing industries.Over the last 5 years, following are the key achievements of Agri department:• Procurement model shift from contract buying to contract farming• FF Potato development program apprehended and under implementation• Seed Potato crop multiplication protocol development• Crop development on commercial basis i.e. Sweet Corn, Broccoli• Compliance mechanism developed for export for products i.e. Okra, Peas
Manufacturing/Processing:
FFFL factory is the first and only IQF processing plant in Pakistan. The facility is capable of processing frozen cut fruits such as Mango, Strawberry, and a host of frozen vegetables such as Peas, Sweet Corn, Broccoli, Okra etc, under individual quick frozen (IQF) technology.IQF fruits and vegetable offer convenience, hygiene and most of all higher nutritional value than fresh or canned because they are frozen very quickly after harvesting. That makes their color, texture and taste richer than those of fresh vegetables, and they also contain more vitamins.At FFFL we process food with clean fresh water at optimum temperatures without any additives to retain its nutritious value, while removing dangerous microorganisms. All this under firm hygienic conditionsOur manufacturing facility, is designed to ensure we process our products to the highest quality and safety standards. This includes preventing foreign bodies from entering products, and controlling microorganisms and pests. At our factory we guarantee that the materials, equipment and manufacturing environment are all designed to produce safe frozen productsWe carefully manage the flow of raw material and finished products in and out of our factories to ensure raw materials and prepared foods are properly segregated. Our factory has dedicated zones, equipment and processing utensils from raw material to finished good to prevent cross-contamination. We follow best cleaning and sanitation practices at every step of production, and our employees are trained to fully adhere to the principles of good food hygiene.As a guarantee of safe and best quality food FFFL is certified against various local and international food safety certifications such as: Halal, BRC, and ISO 9001, Kosher, and PFA (Punjab food authority).

Our factory confirms that all the waste generated in solid liquid or gaseous state are treated and brought under safe disposal limits. Customer Service:
Frozen goods storage and transport is a growing domain on the global logistics’ canvas. Customer Service is equipped with state of the art facilities and latest techniques to ensure Cold Chain sustenance at all stages of product flow from storage to transportation to distribution network. Our state of the art storage facility keeps the product under -20°C round the clock without any gaps while enabling us to access stocks in a worker and stock movement friendly manner. We have a specialized temperature controlled fleet equipped with online location and temperature tracking devices to ensure our temperature sensitive product is transported in a timely and quality compliant fashion to our distribution network (remaining under -18°C at all times).
Quality Assurance:At FFFL Quality Assurance in all aspects, from food safety to up-to-date quality systems, is of prime importance. Each step in the entire value chain is guided, monitored and moderated by Quality Assurance policies, procedures and relevant standards. This 360-degree approach ensures bio safe product at its optimum quality is delivered from the farm to the fork.Risk assessment is the tool used to minimize food safety risks, from farm to fork, we make sure wholesome, microbiologically safe supplies at peak nutritional value reach our processing plant. This carefully selected raw material is further tested and analyzed at our processing plant at each step of processing while making sure our handling personnel and processing lines are in best sanitary conditions.In order to ensure quality at all levels, frequent audits are conducted by the Quality Assurance team. Above system are certified by international certification body , to ensure the highest standards of food safety are maintained at all times. Products processed and sourced by FFFL are routinely tested within the highly equipped QA lab for standard microbiological tests. All shipments from FFFL approved vendors are accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis to ensure microbiological compliance prior to use in various production lines.
